At Purser Support, we’ve developed a 7-Day Onboarding process designed to get us up and running quickly, while adapting to how your yacht already operates.
How does it work?
We begin with a focused handover with the Captain, Purser and relevant HODs.
From there, we familiarise ourselves with the yacht’s existing systems, understand where support is most needed and begin taking ownership of the agreed areas of administration.
That could mean crew administration and travel, accounts and expenses, visas and medicals, leave management, port clearances, vessel movements — or a combination depending on the programme.
Over the following days, we organise outstanding administration, establish clear workflows and make sure everyone knows what is being managed onboard and what is being handled ashore.
By Day 7, we’re operational.
Another Purser, not another system.
Already have a Purser onboard? Great.
We’re not there to replace them. Purser Support can take agreed areas of administration off their desk, giving them more time to focus on the operation onboard.
And because our team is made up of experienced yacht Pursers, we can hit the ground running.
